About the Journal
Jurnal Komunikasi & Media Digital (JKMD) is a peer-reviewed electronic journal published by the Program Studi Komunikasi, Fakultas Komunikasi dan Diplomasi, Universitas Pertamina. First launched in 2023, JKMD aims to provide a prominent academic platform for researchers and practitioners to share innovative insights, empirical studies, and conceptual advancements in the fields of communication science and modern media.
Adopting a full Open Access publication model, JKMD is deeply committed to supporting a greater global exchange of knowledge by making all published content freely available to the public. To ensure the highest scientific quality, integrity, and objectivity, every submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. To encourage broad academic contribution, JKMD charges no Article Processing Charges (APCs) / Free for submission and publication, and all published works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
JKMD accepts all types of scholarly articles, including original research articles, literature reviews, and book reviews, written in both Indonesian and English. The journal is published bi-annually (2 times a year), with Issue 1 released between January–June and Issue 2 between July–December.
